Yes, your steering wheel controls should work with aftermarket head units. They're wired into the stereo and should work regardless.

At worst you'll need an adapter. Check out http://www.soundgate.com/index.php?request=product.details&categoryid=172&productid=446&usereferrer=1.

I don't think they're available yet but they may be from another manufacturer.
