Okay...I'll admit I'm pretty idiotic on a lot of this car stuff.

I bought my caliber off the lot a couple weeks ago. One of the signing options was called "Touch of Class". This protects paint fading, interior fabric, etc. Anyway...I feel like the guy said I'd never have to wax it?! Is that possible? I would never attempt doing that myself anyway...I just wonder.

My current question now though, is what is a good product just for a simple wash? I have a steel blue and dust is noticeable (to me at least).

Again...I admit I'm clueless...just need to be nice to my first new car : )

You will ave to read your paperwork about that protection that was installed. There has to be information on it given to you by the dealer. If not go request it. It's just a dealer option, and not all dealers use the same stuff. I would still get a coat of good wax put on the car. As for washing it, if you are going to wash it yourself, get a bucket, one of the wool wash mits, and some carwash soap. If you are going to get it washed by someone else, just let them do their thing, but mke sure they don't scratch the paint or anything like that.
