My dealer is having trouble getting an order in Marine Blue Pearl Coat in the system. I checked in with them today and was asked if I was sure I wanted the Marine Blue. They then showed me a PT Cruiser in Marine Blue Pearl Coat which was on their lot and using the same paint code as offered on the Caliber. The paint code is PB6. They are two very different colours based on the Caliber web page (see attachment)which is shown as a rich navy blue.

The Marine Blue Pearl Coat on the PT Cruiser (see attachment) was a much lighter pastel sky blue. I didn't like it.

I really liked the colour rendered on the Caliber web page link above but am now worried if I order it, I will get a completely different colour than what is shown. Does anyone know what the Caliber Marine Blue looks like? Is the Caliber web page wrong in what it shows? If so, there may be many very disappointed people ordering based on that page.

I just visited the US configure and order page here:
http://www-5.dodge.com/vehsuite/dispatch.do
and the colours are different again. The Steel Blue Metallic looks like the Marine Blue on the Canadian Dodge page.
Very confusing. The Marine Blue on the US page looks like the same colour as in the prior post on the Cruiser. I will show this to the dealer tomorrow. Has anyone seen the Caliber in the Steel Blue Metallic?
I have seen a Caliber in Steel Blue Metallic in person. It is a darker blue/gray mix. Not as dark as a Navy, but not a real dark gray either.
I don't know which is the real color, but I did notice the Blues changed on the US (dodge.com) Build and Price this past Saturday.

Previously the Steel blue had the dark Blue thumbnail but was Light blue on the picture of the car and the Marine Blue was a light blue thumbnail and dark blue on the car. Saturday morning the car colors changed so that the Marine Blue is the light blue thumbnail and car and Steel Blue is the dark blue thumbnail and car.

For what its worth, in the Caliber Brochure Marine Blue is the lighter one that matches the color of the PT Cruiser that you linked.
I went to the link above, www.get2knowcaliber.ca, and what they have shown as Steel Blue Metallic is Marine Blue Pearl Coat and what is shown as Marine Blue Pearl Coat is Steel Blue Metallic. Marine is the lighter Blue and Steel is the darker Blue. Go to www.dodge.com and build one. They have the colors shown correctly.
i think the colour you're trying to avoid is this one

(warning if you're on dial up, that might not be a link you want to click on. the file's relatively large)

i haven't seen any of the other blue you want. i'd get the one not pictured in the link as well...
Mini.. how certain of this are you? as in, where'd you get your info from? If you're right, I ordered the wrong damn colour.. hopefully there's still time to change it as it hasn't been built yet..

I dunno man, we have Patriot Blue Pearl on our Ram. It's the rich, navy blue you mentioned, not the Sky Blue.
If you can find an SXT Sport with the Blue seat inserts, the Bezel is Marine blue. I saw a Black one with blue inserts on a lot around here and it is fairly dark. It looked darker than the PT Cruiser pic you posted...I actually saw that picture on-line when I was trying to find out what the colour was like. And also depending on the calibration of your monitor, lighting where the pic was taken...you never know until you can see the colour in person.
So, I think you can get the marine blue bezel in Black, Silver or White SXT Sports...see if you can track down one of those.

I changed my colour order to Steel Blue Metallic. Saw this
colour on a Charger. Looks good.

I presently have a 2002 Liberty in that colour. Looks great. Its the reason I wanted a dark blue on the new Caliber.

Yes, that's marine blue. Switched my order to Steel Blue Metallic. I'm sure glad this was caught. What a drag to pick up a new car in the wrong colour:(
I am not liking that Marine blue color, I guess it does not appeal to me either.
Just got a call from the dealer. My order was accepted by the system when they changed the colour to Steel Blue. Looks like I lost 4 weeks or so but should now see it sometime in May. Better late than the wrong colour.

Hope you like the color, we sure do.
Here are some pictures of our Steel Blue Metalic Caliber. We sure like the color. http://www3.telus.net/public/a3a29212/
Sorry about the dirt, it had just rained and hadn't cleaned it up yet.
I bought a PT Cruiser the other day for my wife, she thought the Marine Blue was "pretty"

We opted for Silver instead... :D

Steel Blue Metallic is a great color, almost as good as the PB4 Electric Blue on my SRT-4.... Okay, I do like the Steel Blue better...
+1 for picking steel blue!

I personally love the color, that is the color caliber I ordered and my 01 neon is a darker, modified steel blue color.
