Ok guy am almost depress from what i saw 2 days ago when i raced a friends of a friend mustang GT. I'll go straight to the point: Off the hole the mustang took me by like 3 cars and then after 3 gear i start catching up and pass him on 4th. Rolling on 1st gear is something similar but with less 1 car and rolling on 3 i take him by 3 car and more and more until he can't see me. But the whole point of this thread is that this car thats NOT HOOK AT ALL!!:icon_flaming: 1st and 2nd gear is a joke....it feels like the car is reving the rpms on neutral and way too fast. The other thing that i wanted to clarify with everyone is that the car is better to launch with just pressing the button for the traction control off; if u use the scangauge to completely remove the traction control at least to my opinion u would get nothing but horrendous wheel spin. But this car is in desperately need of the Nemiro's traction control box or some slicks

Mustang Mods:
Full exhaust no cats
K&N Cold Air Intake
285s rear tires

If you don't go full throttle in 2nd gear, you can still get really good power and have it catch. It feels stronger than the stock pcm when you do it that way (at least I think so).

This is true. In the mean time practice driving. Try to throttle for max acceleration and minimal wheel spin just like the box offers.

sounded like fun!!!! good kill. get some vids next time yo!!!!!

Practice, practice ,practice The launch is acheivable it just takes time. do not floor 1st and 2nd. I have killed alot of cars since stage 1 and it just takes some practice launching.:bigthumb:

By disbling everything with the scangauge you lose the "brake diff".
By pressing the dash button, it's still there.

Thanks for the info, and wait till summer when you can go out messing around with some drag radials. it'll be a different story.

up here the cold makes traction a joke. I can downshift into third at like 70 and floor it and I get wheelspin. it's nuts.

yo yo yo "turn my headphones up!!!!" "turn my headphones up!!!!!"

mitsuwa u still aint gayed up that avatar for me n slick.

Sorry to interrupt comedy central here.

I've found that leaving esp on is better for launches and turning it off for road coarses is best.
I'm very experienced with a stick and still get better times with esp on.

I think we're also going to start finding out who's been bad on their clutch before they got the S1.

Nothing like more torque to reveal a clutch that's on its last threads.

Yes, the cold most definatly affects the F1s. I have the RSAs and still have the problem. The cold causes those soft sticky tires to go plastic.:)

Exactly, I dropped it into third the other morning to pass some dipshiit who was going like 55...

The tires were actually skreeching as I was blasting past them.
It was cool no doubt, but if in the context of wanting max acceleration it's a detriment. But it's winter, so what can we do?

today looks like it's going to be sunny. I am seeing the sunrays on my house right now, so today might be a good time to go out and play.

I've been trying to get over to go see my asian friend with his insane c-30 volvo so we can do some runs, plus he's been really wanting to check out my car. We'll see what happens.
