Hell yeah, well bargained!
At least you didn't fold for 28k OTD (yes it was ordered) like that other dude.
Well for the record...
1. The sticker was $28,000, but I'm not making $28,000 worth of payments. I'm only making $13,000 worth of payments (less than half the price of the vehicle that didn't even exist 10 days ago!).
2. As mentioned, it was ordered with some expensive options ($2,600 worth!) Also remember the base price is nearly $25,000 BEFORE you even add any options to it. So its going to be more expensive right off.
3. Its a freshly built 2009 and not a 2008 that has been sitting on a dealers lot for 10 months. Dealers realize how these cars aren't selling and are willing to do whatever it takes it get the damn things off their lot, even if it means making little to no money off the deal. I could have gotten a 2008 just like I wanted for around $10,000 w/trade. I didn't want to trade a 2008 for a 2008 and make payments on it for 4yrs. That just doesn't make any sense to me. Plus I wanted the leather seats.
4. I have a trade and got more for the trade than some other dealers would have given me considering I had to order the vehicle.
5. I still got the employee pricing with 0% APR for 48 mo
6. Its a dealer I always go with because I'm not gonna get screwed over. If something is wrong they'll go out of my way to make it right. They won't add in stupid $hit and hide in a contract like some dealers do. To me, thats more than worth paying a little extra for a vehicle.
