Yeah, I am about to order them with the strut brace.
I have heard that these items alone are a HUGE improvement.

I am NOT going with coil-overs so it's my only option.
I think those two parts should do just fine though.

In the future I would like to do the strut bar and sway bars. Improved handling without sacrificing ride...perfect for a DD.

Exactly.
At one point I really wanted to lower the car in a big way because thy just look great that way. But then I realized what a bitch it would be pulling into every parking lot ramp where I'd have to be so careful not to scratch anything and I decided against it.

I guess if the srt guys are standing on their stock suspension, then I figure their sways and tower brace ought to give a nice improvement in cornering and keeping the car flatter without a ride that makes my wife and kid avoid riding in the car.

This is funny....My wife said one of the things she doesn't like about the car is that you really need to pay attention when driving it. I know what she meant because it's true, but then again, I laughed and asked her if that meant that she pays no attention when driving my freaking BMW. I hope so!!!

She has bad habits.
I told her if I ever saw her doing that "steering with her knee crap" in this car, there would be some kung fu going on!

I have to agree with her though that this isn't one of those cars that drives itself. it's definitely a driver's car, and I like it that way. I hope that's what she meant...or she's in for a downgrade to maybe a nice mini with an auto. :jester:

i already have the strut brace and i want these. they look like a pain to install though.
Bah, try changing a 46re trans in a dakota. That's a pain in the ass and I do it every year.

Swaybars are nothing to do. Especially on a nice clean new car.:bigthumb:

Anyone else have any feedback on the sways and/or strut bar?

I am interested in these and just wanna hear some info. Thanks before hand.

Ive got both the swaybar kit (photos of the swaybars are of my car!).

The strut bar helped a little bit, but not nearly as much as the swaybars did. I noticed MUCH less bodyroll with the swaybars!

Installation of the rear swaybar was very easy.

Installation of the front swaybar, was not as easy, we had to lower the K frame to remove the factory swaybar and install the new bar. That sounds complicated, but it only took about 1.5 hours total for both bars to be installed.

When feeling the handling performance of my car I felt the biggest problem was the inability of this car to kick its ass out. It just wants to plow in tight corners. The sway bars should help a lot, plus the coilovers gotta be great reducing body roll by lowering the car's center of gravity.

Do you really need Sways if your going with coilovers ? I just bought Munch's bc racing coilovers and just wondering if i should go ahead and purchase the sways as well ?

Would there be that much of a diffrence with coilovers on stock sways VS coilovers on mopar sways ?

:notallthere:p5153749, already installed:bigthumb:... the rear took 3 min. the front took about a half hour and did it without removing the steering rack:read: or needing to do an alignment, if you want tips just ask... but it really is a pain in the ass... althought i couldnt stand the wait for them in the mail and it seemed like it took forever to put them in the return is amazing!

P.s. when you finnaly do figure out how to get the front in on your own it will rub on the lower controll arm untill you put the weight of the car back onto it, this is normal... i spent an hour on the phone with a dodge engineere before i figured it out on my own
