I'll be autox the csrt4 for the first time tomorrow. So far I've autcrossed 3 of 4 of my past cars. I was quickest in my STI and slowest in mr ram srt10. I got booted from g stock and put in STU. Mopar cai and the wot box and the mopar sways are too much for gstock with the almighty csrt4!

Good luck. let us know how it compares to the STI (since that was the best)

Pics and Results

The Autocross was fun. I ended up 30th out of 70th by PAX time overall and 1st in STU (I was the only one.) This car is front wheel drive, high horsepower and much more self control is required than I had on that day to keep the tires stuck to the pavement. (too easy to spin with the throttle!) I do have some video that I will try to post, they are both about 31-32 seconds long....it was a short course :(

ps..I put a "make-shift" camber bolt kit in the night before the AutoX and it ruined the handling......there is such a thing as too much camber, I guess......maybe toe needed adjusting. What I did was remove the stock 14mm lower strut bolt and put in a grade 8 7/16" bolt, which is smaller....we then gave it all the negative camber the bolt would allow and tightened it all back up. We put it back to stock that night. :)

Right on...great to see another CSRT autox'ing...they actually perform quite well for a stock car. If the right mods were done to this car, I believe it would be a force to be reckoned with!
Nice pics...you could almost catch a glimpse of air under the first pic right rear tire...almost. How long was the course?

I would love to get into autox'ing, I used to race carts and I've been dragracing a 74 challenger for several years- sold it and got my csrt4 as a daily driver and would just like to see what else it can do through some corners. All I've been able to find is NASA racing- is there any group or place to get into just for some time runs? I dont want to spend hundreds on classes or anything.
