Im having a hard time tunning this thing. ill do one pull and be rich then do another and be lean as F***. im clamped at 3.2 does anyone know what i should be around with the mods in my sig
you want to use a multi-meter to check your volts, you need to see the 2nd number after the decimal so you can fine tune.Set your clamp too the voltage right where it gives you 88% throttle. Use your scan gauge unclamped to find this voltage out. Once you got it slowly start upping the boost and watching A/F. Unlike most guys on here once my clamp was set 3.2v I left it alone and used the WG only to adjust. fyi
With your bigger injectors you may have to clamp lower 3.1/3.0 range. See what your car likes.
yes,but im just giving you a safe starting point.ok i will do that. i do have one question tho. if im clamped so high and the computer is seeing more than ms1 boost levels wont it pull throttle? b4 my boost was clamped at 14.8 and i was getting 87 throttle but i was running lean. im asuming because my boost was to high. im hooking up my manual boost contorller today.
577/575 are way bigger than stock Bro? stock Caliber 450-470cc NSRT1's 499ccyou want to use a multi-meter to check your volts, you need to see the 2nd number after the decimal so you can fine tune.
his injectors are not much bigger than stock if their the nsrt injectors.
those are at different fuel pressures bro. someone posted a chart up of the differences, im pretty sure r/t 575's dump a bit more fuel at our fuel pressure than nsrt s1 injectors.577/575 are way bigger than stock Bro? stock Caliber 450-470cc NSRT1's 499cc
Ok I will do that. It feels strong tho. Ill have to see. Ill post bak up with resultsyour boost shouldnt jump around like that. are you doing you pulls from the same rpm every time?
if you gonna be running over 20-21 psi you really need meth or race gas.
turn the boost down just a little and lower the voltage a little, more boost doesnt mean more power. lots of power come from advancing timing.
this 21 then rising to 24 is called boost creep, not really a good thing.
drop the voltage a little more. you have to mess with it a decent amount to get it perfect.blips of .3 and an occasional .7
i turnd the boost down and it doesnt feel as strong. idk why i cant hit 19-20 in 2nd it just wont go but in 4th it pulls like a train
That was my point.....those are at different fuel pressures bro. someone posted a chart up of the differences, im pretty sure r/t 575's dump a bit more fuel at our fuel pressure than nsrt s1 injectors.
