So I have seen some sick examples of murdered out vehicle in flat black. I found this and I think its what out cars would look like in this style.

Anyone try this with vinyl or paint.

u must not search the forums that often cause thats pretty much what all the black cali owners do. i would like to get my cali wrapped in flat black to protect the paint for a few years or however long it lasts. then unwrap it to reveal my nice sunburst orange...

ppl do say murdered out, but i think its better described as "blacked out" or "black on black." murdered out could just mean that its really nicely dressed up or somethin like that.

Give me a little bit and I'll post a picture. I by no means call my car 'murdered out' but mine is slowly becoming all black.
Black '09 with PXR Wheels, tint, black headlights, and I what I am calling the 'sleeper intercooler' modification.
This is a quick picture that I snapped today. The car shouldn't be in pictures at all due to how dirty it currently is. Notice how you can't see the intercooler any longer....

Let me know if this is what you were looking for.

Do people actually say their car is murdered out? If I heard someone say that I would laugh at them. It just sounds retarded.
Its a common term to describe the black everything look. :eek:fftopic: Thanks for adding to the discussion.

I was more talking about the matte black look. Sorry I didn't clarify.

BTW search function sucks balls on this forum.

agreed:bigthumb:
I always use the Advanced search function, and search by thread titles. It works better than searching for random words in all the threads

That or I just remember where stuff was/who posted it :jester:

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That said, this poor car has no beauty in my eyes. To me, that is the absolute worst, crap looking way to decimate the look of a car that I've yet seen. It makes all the 80s Buicks running around in primer grey look good in comparison. It makes the 70s Camaros driving around with 7 different primer colors and all different body panel colors look good. It looks like an "extra" car for some cheesy sci-fi show set 20 years from now.

That baby should be shined and proud, not dull and gross looking.

The only way to make it it look worse would be to have green or blue signal and marker lights to complete the transition to crap-ville.

Well it is not for everyone. I am favoring flat black vinyl so when i get sick of it i peel it off and Silver it is. If I get the patience to do it I will definitely post pics. .

I have always been a huge fan of the F117 and the SR71. What can I say. The stealth look is sexy. The sr71 even has a red pinstripe detail like is so popular on wheels.

Hey, no question the SR71 is the sexiest plane ever built... and the F117 is incredible too. But, um, they're aircraft... lol

Oh well, I'll always prefer shiny on a car... flat colors look like primer.
