Breif over view. Had a clamp worked perfectly fine. It went haywire and started throwing codes like 4 months after install. Install done correctly checked wires 100's of times, all connections soldered. So I returned it to realtune they gave me one and instantly it was a falty one. Took some time to trouble shoot with arron and Hugo (crzycuban). What it was doing is not matter where it was clamped at it would still show actual boost so the computer would instantly kill my throttle. Realtune got this one back tested it and said it was bad, this was like two months ago. They havent had any in stock due to them switching designs so Arron said he would fix one and give it to me. I got impatient and got a killer deal on slush mats and a brand new clamp. Needless to say I got it today reinstalled it and still does the same thing and shows actual boost and my throttle gets cut no matter where I'm clamped. I tried from 3.3 all the way to 2.75 with very slow increments and nothing changed or helped! 43% throttle and no knock. This is so annoying I just want my car back they way it was when I dynoed with the clamp. I have no idea why there not working now because I had no issues for the longest time with the first one.

How far are you from Ventura county? I'd offer to try out my PNP clamp on the agreement if it works you can't keep it. LOL

I'm free this Tuesday if everyone wants to meet up at Cubans. I don't care what time.

Okay so I the one back from RT. This morning I took all the wiring apart and Triple checked all the connections and that the wiring is correct and it is! So i wire up the rebuilt clamp from rt and set the voltage at 3.0 make two pulls and NOTHING! Still shows actual boost and still getting only 43% throttle. Then I had a idea. Since I normally check voltage through the batt - and the clamp v. check. That maybe something is making it work and ground out and read the right clamp number. Sure enough every time i would check it to the - on the batt it would show the right number but when i check it to the - on the clamp its wrong so i make a new ground straight from the batt to the clamp, set the voltage and make a pull. WOW 88% 21 lbs 10.5 af. BUT BOOM... I got a code and throttle light and then OIL LIGHT and next my car just shut off while i was doing about 90mph! Idk wtf! Clear the throttle code and its just keeps coming back my car wont idle right nothing wont stay running. The check the clamp volts and its still 3.0. I get the car back to my house and think okay maybe this one shorted since it was a rebuilt one. So I put the NEW one i bought back in and set the volts. No codes idles right stays running. BUT NOW Im getting my throttle cut to 48% again and boost only goes to 15psi. I NEVER TOUCHED MY WG all DAY! and have the 19lbs spring! UGH!!!!!!!!!! IM OVER THIS CLAMP! I get no Help, every time I ask for it i get the same answers. Is it wired correctly? YES I had no issues for the longest time when I first had it installed!

DOES ANYONE know WTF is UP?

Another update: two pulls later and a 30 mile highway dr.
I switched from the clamp that didn't clamp well back to the one that threw codes and made my car idle funny and afrs jump all over the place. It worked fine for two pulls just like before. Then now it's back to square one. Idle all over the place afrs jumping all over the place and the voltage I set it at won't stat there I set it at 2.89 then it threw a code p2174 and lightening bolt. I checked voltage again it was it 3.03 WTF! I'm going to try resetting the computer cause I can't clear then code. If that doesn't work I'll have to put the other clamp in. It doesn't give me codes but it doesn't clamp. Keep in mind both of these were used and supposed to be rebuilt and working but both give me different issues.

So I brought the other clamp That I switched out troday (doesn't give me full throttle) thinking that something might happen. Glad I did. But I tried the computer reset it didn't work, so I switched the clamp back and now the cars fine code went and stayed away and idles fine but this is the one that won't give me full throttle. I think I just need a BRAND NEW NEVER installed clamp.

This is exactly the reason I stay away from aftermarket garbage like that.
Sorry but Realtune's products are far from garbage...PTP is a diff story
