The back seats were left folded down at the dealers for what I suspect an abnormally long time. There is now what appears to be permanent seat belt marks on the leather from the pressure of the seats being left down. Any ideas how to get these out? I'm thinking that perhaps in the summer time if I apply some heat to the leather by means of a hair dryer I might be able to work the blemishes out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

just make sure u condition the the leather, i always conditioned mine when there was a dent eventually it would go away for the most part, but i didnt want it to crack where pressure was being applied to it.

Hey blue collar,

I would suggest using some Leather Conditioner for now. And when you are ready to do the Hairdryer go for it just don't stick to one spot. Then I would condition the Leather again!

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Thanks,

I'm curious to know how the Caliber's leather seat are going to hold up after a few years of use. They seem thin compared to 12 year old ones in my Benz, no rips or cracks or sign of wear. Use conditioner on them at least twice a year.

The Caliber SRT doesn't have leather. The material that appears to be leather is a synthetic. Compare it to an SRT-8 and you'll see the difference.

I'm mentioning this because you need to be careful what you treat the vinyl with. A hi quality leather conditioner will also be good for the vinyl.
