Replaced the boost gauge last weekend. Took about 3 hours and wasn't bad at all. I took pictures as well as notes and I am working on putting a how-to together that you can download in PDF format and will hopefully have it up sometime next week. In the meantime, here are some pictures of the finished results.

I also wanted to mention that having the mechanical boost gauge in now I am seeing totally different boost readings. I was usually between 10-14 PSI with the stock boost gauge and the mechanical one reads anywhere from 8-12 PSI.

I plan on plugging the stock boost gauge back in this weekend and run both of them side by side to see what the actual difference is. I'll let you know what I find.

Sweet now you can fly over and do mine! Im so not looking into taking that thing apart!

I prefer mechanical vs electronic! I think your mechanical numbers are moreon point because i read what your mechanical one was reading on my stock gauge.

Buy me a ticket and I'll come down for a weekend!!

It's really not bad at all. It took 3 hours because I took my sweet a$$ time, was taking pictures as well as notes, and took too many smoke breaks:)

What size are our boost gauges?? I was looking at the digital gauge from auto meter. What do you guys think?

2 1/16" (52.4mm)

I looked at the Auto Meter digital gauges but didn't really care for them. I was going to go with the AEM Tru Boost but decided I was going to go with a manual boost controller instead so I stuck with the basic boost gauge.

Make sure you get one that will read up to 30PSI if you plan on moding later on ;)
