Today I noticed that one of my daytime running lights is not working but when I turn the headlights on they work fine, this seems a little odd to me??

Thats what I thought and I went and checked them after and sure enough, its gone. If anybody is thinking about buying those bulbs from Modern performance, don't. This is my third set in 4 months. 2 sets of fogs and 1 headlight. I bought another set because I liked the look of them but I whon't be buying anymore of the garbage bulbs. JUNK!

Sorry gotta say that sucks dude, however that is messed about your lights.... Ive had moderns in my car for like 8 months and haven't had an issue yet... and hope that I don't now just because I am saying it now haha....

But good luck with resolving your lights issue man.... that does suck....

DRL's are not doing their job, any longer.
People have become acustomed to them and they VERY seldom do the job they were meant to do!
They still say, I did not see you and continue to pull out in front of us!
I have an 08 CSRT-4 and I do not have the running light's. Am GLAD, too!
Just another PITA job, checking and replacing another lamp.

What are you talking about? DRL were made to be able to see another vehicle coming from away, not from 10 feet in front of you. Coming down the highway, you can see that vehicle coming 100 times better, where sometimes you wouldnt see the car coming at all.

And its the same bulb, you dont have another bulb for DRL, it uses your highbeam at a lower voltage.

I love mine. I dont have to adjust the brightness on my nav for daylight with the headlights on. Plus i dont have to remember to turn the lights on in the first place. Only downside is that on a few occasions i have jumped in the car at night and drove off without my headlights on due to the DRLs being on. They will blind other drivers and the tail lights arnt on.
