i'm entitled to my oppinion.... and you are all subjected to it :-D i don't damn everyone's ideas and taht was my first ANTI RICER post... my other damnings were the monster truck, refering to the caliber as a truck, and slamming it low. i like the rims that have been posted. i like the little mud flaps that have been added... don't be so quick to get all mad about my oppinion. CHILL OUT!!! ok i'm done... we don't need to fight anymore... can we be friends now?
Just curious, what do you mean by "RICE" look?

I saw a guy in EP that totally destroyed the look of his cali. flat black rattle can on the headlights and taillights. this was on a black R/T. really made it look like absolute crap. IF you are reading this, sorry to be so critical. I will be glassing some "eye-lids" for my headlights but they will be three-stage and actually make the car look good.

ymmv

the rice look i was refering to is the 17-22 year old wanna be wankster pimp my ride on 20$ Honda's you see running around the street with the coffee can exhaust and giant rear spoilers....

As for the mods on lights, maybe you have seen this on the cardomains

This guy is on something if he thinks he has\can get sponsorships here in the twin cities and does this to his car. Maybe Maaco sponsored him but they prolly wouldn't even do that. BTW, I have see this car in person and what looks like uneven paint on the taillights IS uneven paint AND has runs in it. It's on cardomain right here, http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2380143. Also, if anyone is thinking of doing this "mod", make sure you sand everything you uwant the paint to stick to, have a paint shop color match your car, leave your side marker lamp area intact, and remove the tape where you didn't want paint before it dries or it will crack and chip like on this guys car.

Good eye Ogilvie and nice work with the intake and tip!

Gotcha...we got a lot of those too here in MN as well! Its funny, you hear that exhaust sound, look and hope to see a car depicted from "The Fast And Furious" only to see a rust bucket with an expensive exhaust system...

it's not even an expensive exhaust i guarantee it's just one of those cheap ass tin can tips....

........You seem to be very quick to jump on everybody about their tailpipes. If you took the time to look you'd see that it is the factory tailpipe on all R/Ts.

....If you took the time to look and read before you start criticizing everybodys choice of exhaust systems you would know that is the stock, factory chrome tip that comes on all R/Ts.

That is what I was saying. I have an SXT and don't have the little chrome tip. It was a compliment.

BTW... That black car is NOT R/TOgilvie's car. He has a sweet looking white one!

if you look at what people are posting i wasn't talking about the factory exhaust... i was talking about the look that some punks such as someone in this forum add to their cars... AKA the "rice look" i was refering to

this stuff comes in a can, you tape off what you dont want painted.. and then you get to spraying, to get a shiny finish, use a clear coat..

an idea on the darkness & effect you can get with nite-shade & clear-coat:

Any more word on tailights yet, some moron opened a car door up into my drivers side tailight and busted it, I filled it with silicone so it wouldn't get moisture in it but I've got a feeling I'll be buying some other tailights when they come out.

To tell the truth that wouldnt look that bad if the guy put a clear coat on it. Kinda looks stupid car is nice and shinny taillights are dull black doesnt look right.
