huh... guess i should be glad i got a marine blue one...

is it possible to get the number of how many that are built with different colors. it should be nice to know which is the most common color, and which is buildt in just a few ex.

I just heard from my dealer today, that the khaki is history.........glad I got one :D ,I think the combination khaki exterior and sand interior is great!

I don`t know if I`m the only one in Denmark to drive a khaki Caliber?? and now it`s gonna be collectable :D .
It could be interesting to know though, how many were produced in diff colours.
Regards

Welcome to the forum, how about a picture of...."tinted black sxt with 20´s and lowering springs "

I don't want to offend anyone, but I'm sure I will! lol I'm glad they're trashing the Marine Blue, It's only rival interms of being a foul color, is the Khaki! Good riddance. The Marine Blue has way too much of a purple tinge to it! As for the Khaki.........old people love them some "gold" colored cars! This is just my opinion! Please don't start flaming me on here! I'd love to see the yellow come back! The pics I've seen of it are HOT!!!!! My Charger R/T is Steel Silver metallic, and I like that color, but I'd love to see a darker grey than that. The steel silver can be a little too green at times.

You`re not offending me,I still find the khaki attractive combined with the sand interior.Maybe this has to do with the way you see the car...I see it as a kind of SUV,and NOT a musclecar. If I went for the new Camaro,Charger or Mustang, the black colour would make the car look mean, because it`s low wide and has lots of power. But the Caliber is not that kind of car, sorry, and never will be, nomatter how much gear you put on it...it`s still a SUV kind a car.

But I guess,taste is a neverending discussion.

you so just hurt my feelings...

I like the khaki too and would probably even make it my third choice after black and red.

Black....something about the color black is part of the puzzle.

Attention user 44Caliber....

If the khaki color is going to be discontinued, I have not heard anything about it. I own a khaki Caliber and everything down to the color of the carpet matches very nice. Have you seen one in person with that color? I've seen the color on the JEEP Compass and I don't like it on that body style, but on the Caliber with 17 inch aluminum wheels it looks great!

Black is part of the puzzle??? I sure as hell hope they drop it so us black caliber owners end up with rare cars :)

My guess: Steel Blue delete and probably see the "Burnt Pumpkin" disappear.

As for the new colors: I am guessing that the eletric blue will see the light of day and with the comment" Black will be part of the puzzle" I am guessing that we will see a special edition "Dream Caliber " sort of along the lines that they did with the PT Cruiser like a 2 tone Silver / Black combo.

I'd weighed out the possibilities since this thread was started of the "burnt pumpkin" being one of the dropped colors, but consider it unlikely.

It's seems to have been one of the most popular and desired colors. Plus, many of the Caliber entries at industry car shows and in official promotion photos - ESPECIALLY of the upcoming SRT-4 - feature it in the orange.

However, if it is dropped, it wouldn't be the first time that an American automaker likely shot itself in the foot - and would probably shake it's head afterward wondering why they it has sales concerns and craftier competition from foreign automakers.
