off topic: does the rear carpet actually come with the rams head facing the wrong way? :notallthere:
It's probably the Japanese version.

thanks for the love guys. anyone have any ideas on how i can secure it? when i take a left turn too fast it will bunch up the carpet and slide all the way over. i cant use that double sided rug tape bc the bottom of the carpeting is those little pegs. im gonna have to find a way to secure it to the wall of the trunk i think

maybe you can do something like a hook on the left rear corner somewhere that the sub has something that will lock into it, that way its still removable, and yet at the same time sturdy

it'd prolly be best to put something like a hook on the sub box and then a hole in the trunk plastic, with a grommet on it, then put the hook in the hole, kind of like how the stock sub is held on, you know?

it is a gray area...

lol I dont see why individuals need to become supporting vendors. I dont know what the fees are but I assume it's enough to not make it worth it. plus as nice as the box is I doubt realtune or dcr is gonna lose any business cause of it ;)

Its not worth it for individuals...when somebody becomes a vendor, there is alot of personal info given to the admin, so taht if something gets sketchy there is a better chance of contacting the seller.

For one-off things that you have made, used and then try and sell because you have replaced it are not a problem...thats what the buy and sell forum is for

ok guys im gonna be trying my hand at making a box for a 12" this time. it will fit in to the same pocket, only difference is that it will stick out from the wall just a hair farther, and instead of coming to a point as it comes closer to the seats, it will be more of a wall that follows the line of the wheel well wall.

Hey guys I'm getting ready for a custom sub box for my caliber srt 4 I have 2 12" JL audio w3 subs and a hifonics Brutus amp, any ideas of how to do the box and where putting the amp??
